About the Role

The purpose of the Product Manager is to deeply understand PetDesk products, customers, competitors, and industry to make data driven, informed decisions about the future of our products. We want a strong Product Manager, and will consider Sr. Product Managers as well. Partial list of responsibilities and outcomes below.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the customer within the PetDesk team.

  • Lead the efforts to define product vision, strategy, technical roadmap, and then drive execution.

  • Be incredibly truth-seeking. Collect whatever data is necessary to inform product direction through business metrics. Solicit and embrace critical feedback.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans that ensure product success and user adoption.

  • Provide technical guidance to other functions and maintain a collaborative team relationship across functions.

  • Have deep understanding of competitive landscape.

  • Present ideas to varying audiences, providing the big-picture and the deeper details of the product to team members across different functions.

Outcomes

  • Shepherd the Loyalty Product through its 4 phase roadmap.

  • Increase app engagement by 10%.

    • Launch the consumer app redesign.

    • Do extensive client research to understand consumer behavior.

    • Balance the needs of clinic customers and consumer needs.

    • Work with marketing to build engagement channels through email, web, etc.

  • Increase dashboard engagement by 20%.

    • Do extensive clinic research to understand front desk staff, practice managers, and owners needs.

    • Prioritize continuous improvements.

    • Work with engineering to produce more internal diagnostic tools.

  • Build a detailed 2018 product roadmap for all products.

    • Work with everyone in the company to know everything.

    • Synthesize client data, clinic data, market data, and all other data sources.

About You

  • You inspire people with a product vision (informed by data).

  • ‘Roll-up-your-sleeves' entrepreneurial attitude.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager for complex SaaS, mobile applications, and related customer facing products.

  • Experience with UX, wireframing, storyboarding.

  • Significant experience managing a product roadmap, building a team, defining user experience, and leading innovation to improve customers’ experience.

  • Track record of defining and analyzing metrics that inform the success of products.

  • Experience developing complex technology products in the enterprise SaaS world, mobile applications, high traffic websites, web based applications, or similar areas.
